7. Competition system — Division 1 and Division 2

Division 1 and Division 2 operate on an identical group mechanism. Each phase consists of two stages.

7.1. Stage 1 — Week 1 (starting groups)

At the start of each phase, the division's 32 players are randomly split into 4 groups of 8 (Group A, B, C, D). Each group plays a round robin. The draw happens once, at the start of the phase.

    • for a tie between 2 players — the result of the direct match between them,
    • for a tie between 3+ players — a mini-table (points/wins from matches between the tied players only).
  2. Placement from the previous phase / stage — a higher placement in the previous phase (or stage within a phase) decides in the player's favor.
  3. Tenure in the higher division — a player who has spent longer in a given division (number of phases without relegation) gets priority.
  4. Open Division result — the final placement a player achieved in the Open Division (applies to players promoted from Open).
  5. Dice roll — only as a last resort.

8. Competition system — Open Division

All Open Division players play round robin (everyone plays everyone, no groups).

Tiebreakers — per section 7.3. Scoring — per section 9.

Promotion: The top 8 players (places 1–8) are promoted to Division 2 before the next phase starts.
